"Anchor Down" for your relaxing fun vacation, just 1.5 blocks to the beach! Everything about "Anchor Down" is geared toward making your family comfortable and your vacation fun! There are 5 bedrooms (2 of which are master suites with king-sized beds) and the extra-special 5th bedroom approximately 380 Sq. Ft. contains a Queen Bed & additional sleeping for 1 with full bath and "Recreation Room" with a foosball & ping pong table (in garage).
Your family will enjoy gathering in the beautifully furnished living room to catch up on the day and enjoy each other's company. Enjoy the wonderfully equipped kitchen with all the appliances and tools needed to prepare any and/or all meals during your vacation. Also equipped with Blu Ray player.
Grill your evening meal while watching the kids play games in the private swimming pool.
The 2nd Floor (main) consists of a Living Space, Dining & Kitchen Space with Breakfast Bar, a Guest Bathroom, a King (br1) Master Bedroom with an en-suite with shower, Bedroom also has a 32" Flat Screen TV
3rd Floor consists of a King (br2) Master Suite with a 42" SMART TV, 2 additional Bedrooms 1 with a set of Twin (br3) Beds & a Queen (br4) Bedroom with Jack-n-Jill bathroom, both which are equipped with 32" TV's & BluRay players, there is a loft just outside the bedrooms which hosts a Single Sleep Chair.
The 1st (ground) Floor consists of a Queen(br5) Bed, a Futon & Game Room with Foosball, Ping Pong Table, full bath with tub/shower combo and TV with DVD.

*Linens and Towels: To help keep the cost down for our guests, this property gives you the option to either bring your own linens and towels or rent them. If you would like to rent the linens, you can select linen sets, a la carte, for $34 plus tax per bed, at check out or when booking with a reservationist. Each linen set includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet, 2 pillowcases, bath towels and with every order a kitchen pack. This way you can choose which beds you want linens for and are not paying for linens you do not need.
Property May NEVER Exceed Occupancy Limit Set by Owner - Sleeps up to 12, with a maximum of 10 adults.
Absolutely NO Events (Reunions, Weddings, Parties, etc) are allowed at this Property
Pleasure Island Pet Ordinances:
Leashed Dogs are allowed from October 1st- March 31st at any time of the day. April 1st- September 30th dogs are allowed from 5pm- 9am only. Dogs are not allowed on the beach 9am- 5pm. Dogs are not allowed on furniture & must be crated if left alone- see AREA GUIDE>DOG FRIENDLY INFO on this site for more info.

We had a great time. The house was nice and clean, plenty of space for all 7 of us. It was nice having the pool. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, and pier. One of the bathrooms had a clogged drain and low water pressure when we got there, we contacted them and it was immediately fixed. We would stay here again.

Just a quick note to say that Anchor Down was a great rental being so close to the beach and having a pool too! The house was very comfortable and well appointed. Two weeks went by way too quickly.

This is a gorgeous, home with all the amenities! Each level of the house had great features to enjoy and something for everyone. Loved the stylish master suite and awesome views from the 3rd floor. On the second floor, my favorite part was the open kitchen/dining room/living room area that provided an abundance of relaxation. The bottom level was the socializing place. With the pool, foosball table, and ping pong table, it was the most enjoyed area of the house. Plus, the place is so convenient to everything Kure Beach has to offer. All the family (even the four-legged kids) thoroughly enjoyed this beach paradise... Son, daughter and friends are already wanting/asking to go back there!

Wonderful vacation home, open living style, beautiful kitchen, very well equipped. We cooked most of our meals, but restaurants are within walking distance. Only a block or two to the beach and fishing pier. Lovely pool to relax by and a gas grill for evening meals. The owners have the Anchor Down beautifully decorated. Will definitely be back!

Spent a week at Anchor Down in Kure Beach. The 5BR 4 1/2 Bath home is beautifully decorated and fully stocked. We cooked in quite a bit and were surprised to find everything we needed including lovely serving pieces to fancy up our dinners.The open floor plan makes relaxing very easy. There are 2 decks to spend your evenings on and the pool was a great way to cool down after a long day on the beach. This home is an easy 2 minute walk to the pier, restaurants, bars and beach, but also far enough away to provide a quiet place for the week. I would highly recommend renting this home for your Kure Beach vacation, you will not be disappointed
