Roomy house for 9. The view makes the place. The house had everything you would need. A little outdated but a great rental. The cleaning staff came after our arrival so it was definitely not clean.

We loved the view of the sound, the dock and the screened porch. The house is very well equipped and has a great layout for 2 families. We did have water issues with gray water and grit in the tubs when the hot water was used and this was a problem throughout the week. Bathroom plumbing needs to be updated...downstairs master shower was basically a trickle and the temperature was hard to regulate. Overall, the house is clean and has been maintained. Updating is needed in all bathrooms and kitchen.

We love the location overlooking the waterway. It's a great place from which to go paddle boarding and kayaking when the tide is up. It's also an easy walk to the beach.
However, the "sleeps 10" is a bit misleading as the sofa bed in the loft really is not good for 2 people and one of the children had to sleep on an air mattress in the large walk in closet.
It is also frustrating that although it "sleeps 10" the table only seats 6 and we brought a card table and extra folding chairs so that we can all eat dinner together.
The decor is lovely and the place is bright and cheery but the DVD player did not work.

Our bridge group’s second visit at Early Busby and we love it! Roomy for eight with a little daybed alcove if someone needs their own space. Terrific bathrooms and a half bath on the first floor. Well supplied kitchen and an extra fridge downstairs for overflow. And the long pier reaches out to the bird-filled marsh. The. house is clean and linens supplied. We couldn’t be happier.

Our extended family of 6 enjoyed a week late in July at Early Busby. The 2 master suites worked well for our guests. It was a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach; the beach wagon helped a lot. We enjoyed the option of screened vs sun decks. We had a wonderful vacation!

Our bridge club enjoyed three full days at Early Busby last week. The home is beautifully appointed, roomy enough for 8-9 adults, well supplied in the kitchen, and situated on the sound and a quick walk across the street to the sugar sand beach. IntraCoastal was very responsive to a request during our stay. We would rent this lovely home again.

We truly enjoyed the property and experience. The home was tastefully decorated, well stocked with utensils, and impeccably maintained.

The venue was a focal point for a few families celebrating a UNCW graduation and the space allowed for everyone to connect, relax, have fun, tell stories and laugh!

the house was okay, too many family pictures and the refrigerators had food left in them. The down stair refrigerator was full of beer and had a bad smell.

Everything was good. It would be nice if owners could leave a few bicycle unlocked. We are not able to bring all our gear.

We stayed in this home 10 years ago and again in 2015. It was nice to return. The property has been well kept and if feels like a home - not just a sterile rental property. Last time we used the kayaks. We expected them again so it was disappointing to see them chained up. Otherwise very nice stay.

We've rented this house for the last six or seven years, so we obviously like it. All was fine with the exception of the tv and Internet service. Each tv requires a couple of remotes and a page of instructions to turn it on. This year the internet service was so slow that we had to go to Panera to get a connection to use for work. Other than the tech stuff, everything was wonderful.

We loved our Early - Busby rental and enjoyed a perfect vacation. the location was ideal for both beach and bay, with many happy hours swimming in the ocean, kayaking and SUP-ing. The house was completely equipped, beautifully decorated and so comfortable.

A great place to put up family and friends prior to daughter's wedding. We were able to all be in one location for the week. Close to the beach. Spacious, with room for all. Made it possible to relax together whenever time permitted. Well furnished. Excellent layout.

This is the eighth year we have stayed in the same home and it is always a pleasure. The grandchildren (ages 22 months to 17 years) have a great time This year I had a family crisis and needed access to a fax machine. The staff (Vicky)was very accommodating and helpful.

My family enjoyed out few days in Wrightsville Beach at the Early Busby Cottage. the house was very nice, comfortable, beautiful view. Great screened porch. It was a perfect location to celabrate my daughters graduation.

This was as well appointed a vacation property that we have ever leased and we have leased quite a few. It really gave a strong sense of being "home".
